Technology

While the Company was founded in 2016, its technology is the result of over ten years of innovation stemming from a breakthrough in fiber technology at the Technical Research Centre of Finland (“VTT”) in 2010 and has its roots in one hundred years of Nordic pulp and paper technology heritage.

Our technology allows manufacturers to use a versatile, high-quality fibre with excellent properties without depriving environmental impact. Our patented, regenerated Infinna™ fiber can be produced using 100% textile waste, which would otherwise be landfilled or incinerated.  Our primary raw material consists of cotton-rich post-consumer textile waste, but Infinna™ fiber can also be produced from other mixed textile waste, pulp and paper or cellulose-rich agricultural waste.
